Why a Camel Logo?

You might think it references the Camel’s legendary adaptations for strength and survivability in adverse conditions, but that is not the case.

My family (the Campbells) have long called themselves the Camels.

In the late 50’s and early 60’s my grandparents, Homer and Beulah Campbell, sold their store and their house, bought a 40-foot-long Airstream trailer, and for several years joined the Airstream caravans traveling all over the Unites States.

They called themselves the Camels.

The picture on the right is an iron yard sign with two camels, that my grandparents had before I was born.

This picture was taken when I inherited it over 35 years ago, and I still have it.

I’m proud to be a Camel.
